What is the difference calling my paypal card credit or debit when I use it at the post office ?

I believe the only difference is if you say debit, the money is taken out immediately. If you say credit, it isn't taken out until the next business day. At least that is how it works with my bank debit card. That is what the girl at the WAWA said to me.
