i have flights booked for 23rd march but my work are sending me home a week early.i booked with paypal credit would i be able to claim a refund?

Contact the merchant and see what their return/cancelation policies are. Even with a PayPal dispute its best to work it out during the dispute phase (non-escalated) with merchant because it's iffy that buyer protection will cover your circumstances should dispute be escalated to PayPal to resolve. With PayPal Credit, the PayPal dispute is the chargeback in one. You get one chance at bat.
