Synchrony is horrendous, deplorable, disgusting, and more importantly, the scum between my toes.
They can't do websites right. Their integration with Paypal stinks.
They purposely make moves to cause issues that they can then charge you for. This includes but is not limited to the transaction dispute process and late fee application. On the initial changeover, I tried to make a payment, the payment could not process for days. I kept getting "Sorry, there was a technical error. Please try again later." Days later, a late charge was assessed. Tried again, it worked! Granted, they did remove it because I called and had taken screenshots, but how many people didn't call?
I've dealt with them in the past with no good outcome. I closed my last account with them just because I didn't want to deal.
Ill soon end up doing the same to Paypal Credit, which is unfortunate.
So, why did Paypal hand off control to Synchrony?
