Using paypal

So I'm trying to buy something on best buy/ or GameStop and when I go to check out and hit the pay with paypal with PayPal credit. it says, "sorry, we can't complete your purchase at this time. Please return to merchant and choose another way to pay." I've been trying all day and when I call PayPal the hold time is around an hour. Anyone know why this is happening and a solution?

I'm sorry to hear of the trouble sending a payment using PayPal Credit. From the error you're receiving, it sounds like our internal security system was blocking the payment from processing using PayPal Credit. If the system detects any form of risk, it can prevent a specific funding source from being used or block a payment completely. Generally, allowing 24 hours to pass before trying again resolves any issues.
