Trying to close my PayPal Credit account

I've asked three times to close my PayPal credit account without any response other than an automated boilerplate message. Why is it so difficult? How long this take?

Calling PayPal Credit Customer Service usually works better as the email bots don't always offer the best advice.   Go to this link, look for "Is there a number I can call if I have additional questions?"
