Hello. I need a small loan of $1600 from PayPal to pay for an emergency house repair. How much interest would PayPal charge? I could probably pay in full within a year

PayPal doesn't do personal loans. If the merchant accepts PayPal, and if PayPal Credit is offered to you at checkout, you may apply for it and get a decision on the spot.
Here is more info about PayPal Credit. I'm not sure which is better: apply during checkout to get a quick decision or applying and then attempt to use it. When you apply first, the system may want you to make a few successful completed transactions with your own linked payment methods prior to offering it during checkout. On the other hand, if you're paying and you get denied...you can get stuck there too and have to pay from your linked payment method. So whichever why you feel comfortable in apply for the line of credit.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
