Please help - I need to cancel a paypal credit payment I made!

Hi, I cannot afford this payment now as a big bill has come out and I would like to cancel. It is still showing as pending but won't give me the chance to cancel and I can't get an answer from Paypal despite messaging. Would really appreciate any help!
