Paypal credit direct debit help

I set up a direct debit to pay installments on my PayPal credit balance. The first was due to come out today. It says a payment is scheduled but nothing has come out. I checked my bank account and there are no payments pending to come out today. What is going on?? I do not want to be charged a late fee when they haven't taken the payment as they said they would.

I'm sorry to hear that the payment to PayPal Credit was not taken as planned. Has the payment gone out since then? If not, please contact PayPal credit customer service at the number at the bottom of this FAQ.
