Paypal Credit - payments

I have purchased something via Paypal credit I just simply want to find out when my first payment is actually due as I can't find this info anywhere. Also, to set up a DD my bank app opens and asks for paypal to have access, sorry to probably sound too much of a technophobe but is this safe?

I think the first payment is normally a month after purchase but there is a phone number on one of the above links if you want to check.

If you are setting up a direct debit to pay your payments due then paypal would need to access to get them wouldn't they.

If you look in your online banking direct debits you will see ones for water / elec / paypal as they all need access to take payments from your bank account.

How safe it is is would be up to you to decide really.
