PayPal ignored my request for 4 months interest free credit on a transaction. The web chat messaging service doesn’t acknowledge the issue. Any advice on how to remedy?

Presuming you already have a PayPal Credit account...PayPal may reserve the right to decline the PayPal Credit charge even if you selected it during checkout and completed payment to use your next available payment method instead. Since payment methods cannot be switched after checkout, you could ask the merchant to cancel the order or issue a refund for a do-over but I would not recommend a do-over because PayPal might not offer the promo again. Plus it might cost the merchant issue a refund if they already capture the payment.
