I recently signed up for PayPal credit and every time I go to use it, it does not show up as a paying option. I have contacted PayPal credit who says everything is good on their end and same with PayPal. PayPal credit is also set as my preferred payment method as well.
PayPal Credit is integrated into checkout system which does some internal checks to see whether it should display PPC as payment option to each account holder. Since you applied for it recently, you may have to make some successfully completed transactions (no disputes) with your own funds so it has a history to go on to check against.
