PayPal Instalments Overpayment (UK)

I couldn't find an answer to this elsewhere, I want to purchase something over 24 months, monthly repayments are £38 for example.

If I overpay say £200 1 month, what happens to the remaining payments, does it shorten the term or reduce the monthly amount?
