I recently made a purchase using PayPal credit. The transaction turned out to be a scam but the payment went through anyway. So I opened a claim. While waiting for things to process, I went ahead and paid my PayPal credit balance since I didn’t know how long this would drag on and I didn’t want any late charges. eBay worked pretty quickly and I received the refund in less than a week, but the money was quickly withdrawn to PayPal credit since that’s how I originally paid for it. Am I to expect PayPal to return the money I transferred to pay my balance or did I just pay them twice??
