Log on and visit this page to access the PayPal Credit agreement and look for how payment are allocated:

My understanding is that generally, minimum payments will go towards Easy Payments installments, general balances, interest, fees, everything but the deferred interest stuff first and then in excess of minimum payment goes to the deferred interest balances particularly when it's a couple billing periods away from being due. See if it is the same for UK accounts.
