How does Paypal credit work

I was recently approved for credit with paypal for the 6months free financing type plan.  For anything over 99.00

How does this work?

Is it 1 item per payoff, once that item is paid off then you can use the credit for another item over 100?

Or can you buy multiple items, and each one has its own 6 month clock before it starts to accrue interest?
