I'm sorry to hear that there was a fee applied. Please contact PayPal Credit customer service to inquire. They can take a look at when the payment was made and discuss the reason for the fee that you were charged.
If you click Contact at the bottom of the PayPal website, then click Call us, the number for PayPal Credit customer service will be listed there.
