DOUBLE CHARGE

I placed an order on 11/16/2019 somehow it got locked up and would not process order. So I closed it down and  tried again. Now the transaction is duplicated on my account. Called the merchant Collections Etc. stated that neither order is showing on my account. Waited a few days to recheck with them ,still no order shown. Both charges are pending .but I want them taken off ,my account. How can this be accomplished. Collections states that Pay Pal will hold in on the account . what time frame will they cancel the transaction.

Those pending temporary authorizations cannot be canceled. They can only expire at this point. May take up to 30 days or less. If merchant does not have an order to void, the release of the funds on the authorizations cannot be done right away so they need time to expire.
