Why can’t I pay using my pay pal credit account? Keeps saying unavailable

PayPal reserves the right to restrict use of the credit line based on the circumstances of your transaction. If PayPal Credit is not offered at checkout, then you must use your preferred payment method to complete transaction. 

If it seems like its a technical glitch aka error message, then please contact customer service for assistance:

Log on, click HELP on top menu, scroll down to click CONTACT US, and then scroll down to click CALL US or other contact options.

Call early, during business hours, west coast time to try to get a US rep.

I have tried ebay, I have tried goods and services, i have tried Nordstrom. It worked one time last night after 4 hours worth of phone calls. I tried to pay for something on eBay this morning. Again says my preferred payment method isn’t available. I have called and called.

thanks for posting in relation to this issue. 

It sounds like our security system may be preventing you from using PayPal Credit in some cases. I recommend ensuring that you are logging in from a secure location when trying to make a payment. Avoid the use of VPNs or proxy servers and use private WIFI if possible. 

If this is not helping it would be best to get back in touch with us as sharpiemarker suggested.
