@barkingspyders Welcome to PayPal Community. To answer your question, the balance or the amount in your PayPal credit cannot be transferred into your PayPal balance. It can only be used as a funding source to make purchases or if you will be sending money to friends or family, you can also use PayPal credit for it. Adding money to your PayPal balance can only be processes from a bank account. Also, refunds that PayPal process go back to the original funding source used, which is in yout case, your PayPal credit account.
