i have received a text from a mobile number asking me to reconfirm my identity or my account will close does anyone know if paypal would text me

steps 

#1 Login to the website

#2 look for (NOTIFICATIONS) see if they left you for what your seeing

#3 if not contact Paypal & ask them about it if they say no? notify them that someone is trying to fraud you.

#4 don't respond to it or click into any links of that text you got.
