a complete stranger sent me money a few days ago. I have never sold anything online and they havent contacted me. it sayd money received not payment received so its not like they are paying me for anything. everything I read says they should initiate the refund. I have called paypal multiple times but they tell me its legit and not a scam. this is so strange. I feel like I cant use my paypal account anymore. any help appreciated
Money Received means it is a personal payment. Click on it and click "Refund this payment" and add a note to the refund saying that this was received in error. Make sure you see the amount in your Available PayPal Balance before refunding, not a pending or on hold payment.
