split this ?

was wondering what split this means? noticed it on my statement on a couple of transactions thanks in advance

All it is, is a way to request money eg you pay a bill for a group of friends and then click on 'split this' to send a money request for their share of that bill.

Pretty useless feature in my opinion but hey ho some may use it
