There are some situations where we may place a hold on a payment to make sure the item is delivered, but you will always have record of the payment in your PayPal account and see the money in the pending balance. Also, we will never ask you to email us tracking information, and direct you to enter it in the PayPal transaction. This situation is a policy called Funds Availability: https://www.paypal.com/us/brc/article/funds-availability
A wanted to respond to you to make sure that you see the pending transaction in your PayPal account. If you do not see this, then unfortunately the email you received possibly may not be from us and is fraudulent. In that case, please do not ship the item!
