Paypal have charged me £16.72 on a sale price of £335, which includes shipment costs.  Payment was from Hong Kong.  This fee is far more than the 3.4% + 20p that is the advertised fee.  Any ideas ?

UK fees have changed recently so you need to read up on them.

That apart international sales are higher as you are paying cross border fees as well.
