payment on hold transaction does not show up in my activities.

Hi I am very new and its my first time selling anything using goods and services. My buyer said that he sent me the payment as goods and services and I had received an email from "paypalbusinesscontact at gmail.com" saying that my payment is on hold. However I do not see the transaction on my account. Is it normal?

That's not a real PayPal email address as PayPal would never use Gmail. They have their own domain: PayPal.com

You're being scammed with spoof/fake PayPal payment emails. Do not ship item, you have not been paid. Congrats, on having your scam radar on high alert and have sense enough to ask. 👍 Always check your PayPal account for the money.

I want to report the user that tried to scam me. Is there anyway to do that paypal? i know his paypal email.
