I received a payment confirmation email on an invoice I sent but the email was from accountant.com, not Paypal.com, is this legitimate? Also I cant see any payment on my account. The invoice I sent has Pending in green. Does this mean it has been paid?
Fake email confirmation. If the invoice was paid, the PayPal Invoice status would be marked "Paid". If anything, the payment transaction should be marked Pending in green (or Payment Received) as a separate transaction in your account activity but since you didn't received one, you weren't paid. The buyer is scammer.
