old and confused

i am a 63 year old former tool dealer with tons of stuff left to sell . i signed up for a paypal account to do on line sales of leftover product . i am totally confused on how this works . can someone explain to me in plain english how the service works . all i want to do is take secure payments from online customers . thanks in advance

That would take me several hours to type up so why not go to paypal user agreement and read up on it and then use paypals helpful FAQ's.

Its not difficult to learn how to use it and you can come back here for specific queries.

Just make sure you read up on paypal seller protection / new seller holds / scams and spoof emails so you are aware of protection available.

I've been using Ebay and Paypal for years with rarely an issue.
