newbie freelancer here, which account to use?

hi, i'm new to paypal, and i'm hoping to get ready to freelance, but which account settings should i use? can i take customor or company payments with a regular account?

You have a US PayPal account so before beginning make sure you're based in US. Some non-US users can mistakenly open US account and some time later discover they can't withdraw funds because they don't have US credentials.

You can start off with a personal account if you like as you can still send invoices and money requests through a personal account and upgrade to a business account as your freelancing gets more formal and grows. Ensure you have all your account details filled in (particularly the SSN or ITIN). Use real info and verifiable information, no nicknames as name of PayPal account holder.

For buyer confirmation: Click "Add Tracking" and select and order status and contact sender to "Confirm Receipt" on their end to release funds. If the sender does not confirm, funds will be released after 21 days.
