i am not a merchange but i pay merchant fees - even for a simple paypal 2 paypal transfers to or from my wife.
i even see a merchant id in my account.
how can this be fixed?
if i close my account and open a new one, will it help?
the other day i transferred $200 to my wife account but she only got only $190 on her account.
paypal took a full $10 for a simple paypal 2 paypal transfer, even though they claim it should be free.

Sellers pay fees regardless of account type, you can sell on a personal or a business account.
The only time you do not pay a fee is if you use the 'friends / family' (trusted person) option BUT I don't think that is available in your country at the moment.

thank you.
paypal declared israel as an all-merchant country, which is offensive, missleading and hurtful.
paypal is too bit to care, and there are websites that only offer paypal payment option so i cannot really cancel my account.
i am frustrated.

Paypal varies a lot country to country and can only offer the services that the banks / governments of that country allow it to offer.
There are quite a few countries unable to receive friends / family payments and a LOT more that can't receive payments at all only send money.
