I am receiving this type of email. What is this. I never respond or log into this type of email.

 

 

Dear Customer,
We regularly check the activity of your account. Recently, we found that some of the activities you are
violating you agreement with us. Therefore, we have limited your account and can’t offer the service for you.
What can I do ? What can’t I do ?
Verify your account information as Send or receive money
soon as possible to resolved this limited Withdraw money from your account
Add or remove a card bank account
Dispute a transaction
What to do next ?
You have 24hour(s) from the date of your PayPal restrictions to fully restore your account access through the
resolution center. If we don’t receive the information before this deadline. Your account access may be
further limited.

Sounds like a spoof so NEVER USE ANY LINK.

Firstly if the email/text addressed you as ''Dear Member'' / ''Customer'' / ''Client'' OR your ''email address'' then that confirms its a spoof as paypal would address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.

Secondly if there was a link OR attachment in that email/text to ''cancel'' any transaction or ''confirm'' any details then again it would be a spoof.

If there was a problem with your account Paypal would not ask you to click on an unsafe link in an email or by downloading an attachment, they would direct you to log in normally and go to the resolution or the message centre for more information.
