contacted by PayPal?

If PayPal attempts to contact me by phone to follow up on suspicious activity, will a specific phone number come up on caller ID?  If I could get a specific number that PayPal will use, I could put it in my contact list, and they would be identified immediately.  I tend not to answer calls from unknown numbers.

Thank you for your question. That sounds like a great idea. Unfortunately, there isn't a way to determine which number will come up for certain. There are multiple numbers that may be used, and it's possible that others may be used in the future.

If you ever doubt a call that you receive, you can let the caller know that you'd prefer to reach out directly yourself. Then you can use one of the contact options to verify the information given in the call.
