how do i safely buy a festival wrist band off someone through here ? do they have to request money as they are selling me something or do i send money as i am buying something off them ? im confused on how to go about it

You can use the send money > goods / services option to their email address / paypal account OR ask them to send you a money request or invoice.

The latter is best so that they can fully describe what they are selling you (in case you have to open a SNAD dispute).

But be careful as paypal buyer protection is not a 100% coverall so go and read up on it so that you can risk assess your transactions.

Do NOT let the seller tell you to use the friends / family option or you will have 0 buyer protection.
