Why are there no wire transfer fees when transferring funds between PayPal and your bank, or between you and your family members? How does PayPal circumvent that issue?
Technology. And come on now, we as users have to have some kind of perks for being PayPal members.
It's free to send friends and family payments domestically with PayPal balance (no cost to move a few numbers around between PayPal accounts) or bank account via ACH which slow and cheap (not free internationally though) and free to transfer funds to our bank account via ACH again and 1% to transfer to a debit card within 30 mins generally.
So have you transferred money from PayPal to a linked bank account? Are Standard Transfers to a linked bank processed via ACH or Wire Transfer? I want to make sure it is via ACH because banks charge an incoming Wire Transfer Fee. Thanks.
