When will I see money in my checking acct?

I am new to accepting money via PayPal when someone owes me money. When will I see it in my checking acct? It says I will see it right away in my PayPal. How do I tell if I claimed it or not?

Paypal payments are more or less instant but allow a couple of hours.

You shouldn't have to claim them unless they are sent in another currency or first payment sometimes as long as your email address is verified and you have a linked and confirmed card on your paypal account.

The funds show in your paypal balance and then you can click transfer / withdraw when you want to to send them to your bank account....if thats an option in your country....as you haven't said what country you are in.
