I was wondering if perhaps someone would like to make a comment upon this one little piece of information that I picked up recently in reference to the
new GDPR rules going into effect May 25. It says:
"Under the GDPR, enterprises can be held liable for security breaches resulting in compromised personal data
occurring while the data is controlled or being processed by third parties."
The way that I am looking at this means that I as an affiliate, on any offer that I am linking to or even directly selling from my website, if I am sending that person to my payment processor, in my case PayPal, then if something happens and there is a breech, Then I can be held personally liable along with PayPal.
I would be interested in other's views on this scenario.
Thanks
Gary
