I've tried to register a possible 'spam'.
I used the suggested spoof address. It bounced!
I then tried one of the other suggestions but that bounced as I used a wrong 'domain' which actually contained what I thought was appropriate.
I give up and have given Paypal a 2 star rating.

You can check if it is spam by looking at the email header or the raw text through your email client app to see who sent the email address or the email domain paths. If it is some random domain and not PayPal dot com then it is spam.
Kudos & Solved are greatly appreciated. 🙂
