WHERE IS THE MESSAGE CENTER?

i cant find my message center account type : Business

Then why would they tell me to visit my (missing) Message Center to view their reply?

That stock answer of clicking on the bell notification is a GARBAGE answer. 

 

Paypal need to get their act together and have a direct link to the secret message center

 

This is the instructions to find it according to paypal...these instructions are not correct and do not get you to the mythical message center.  The problem for me is when I click on the notifications there is NO INBOX  there is only a message asking for more business identification.  When I click the link in the message it tells me I'm all good and takes me back to the account summary

 

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Notifications icon near the top of the page.
3. Click Inbox.
4. Click View Messages.
5. Click the message to view it.

 

If anyone does find this mythical message center, how about you post the actual steps and even the link

I log in > click on the bell icon > then there are 2 options, notifications and message centre > I click on message centre and can then view any emails sent or received.


Advice is voluntary.

I have the exact same issue.

 

I have a business account and I get an email telling me to check my "Message Center" for replies to my support tickets. But there's NO MESSAGE CENTER in my account! Then they refuse to just send me a regular e-mail although I keep sending e-mail replies saying I can't see their messages. 

 

Paypal are definitely the most frustrating company I've ever dealt with and I'll be closing my account as soon as I can.

@kgtrad yes business account here too, but the only 'answers' i've gotten so far have been snide and completely unhelpful and telling me i'm lying, that there is no way i could get this 'you have a message' email as a business account client. which is obviously false since we ARE getting these messages and they have no idea what they are talking about. paypal itself has to date been useless with giving an answer on this either.

I'm totally appalled by the way PayPal has been managing their communications during Covid-19 and even just before then.

 

They haven't answered any phone calls or emails.  As if the world has stopped.  They can't get support staff to work from home when everything is at home doing nothing?? REAAAAALLLLLY??  When people are shopping online more than ever?

 

I FINALLY got a response to all my messages today.  And do you know what they asked?  HOW CAN I HELP YOU?  FFSAKES!!  I sent you emails, messages through message center and all you can say is "How can I help you?"  I answered as politely as I could, but asked, "where are all the messages I sent you in message center they are not accessible now?"  Why don't they keep a record of the messages I sent so I can see them and they can see them??  Is PayPal really trying to lose all of their customers?  This is becoming a not funny joke.

 

I can't believe a company carries on like this.  Doesn't answer anything for months, then puts up a message system that they just answer using automated responses, don't keep a record etc. and then when someone finally answers, they answer with "How can I help you?"  REALLY???????????? LIKE WHERE THE HELL ARE ALL THE MESSAGES I SENT YOU?  DON'T YOU THINK I CONTACTED YOU BECAUSE I HAD A QUESTION THAT WAS SENT TO YOU?

Sorry I have this problem too -- and there is no bell icon as well just the gear icon

Hi @Elai,

Welcome to PayPal Community.
If you are experiencing difficulties when attempting to access your PayPal account or locate an option/feature, please try clearing your cache and cookies or try using a different internet browser to access your account. Also, please try restarting the router for better connectivity. 
If you are attempting to log in through the mobile app, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to see if this helps to resolve the issue.
I would also recommend you to try completing the steps using a laptop/desktop to get complete access to your PayPal account.
