Vendor email disabled, is my purchase secure?

I recently bought a jersey through a vendor - when I submitted the order, the page timed out. I then sent the seller an email to ensure that my order was processed and I received a "Mailer demon" return as the email that the seller uses is not active or accepting emails.
I did receive all the confirmations from PayPal - through the site and to my email.
My question is- will my purchase order be honored if the seller has an inactive email address?
