Using paypal to pay for Ebay item using a credit for part payment

Hi, can someone please advise.

I have a balance of £50 credit on my Paypal account.

I want to purchase an item from Ebay and use the £50 credit towards it.

The Ebay item is £120 so I am assuming when I pay using Paypal it will use the £50 credit and then debit the rest from my credit card that is attached (the extra £70) and not just take the full amount of £120 from the credit card?

Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > second down click on update next to your preferred way to pay and put a dot in the balance option.
