Upgrading to business account

Hi,

I've few queries regarding the paypal business account.

1) I'm planning to be a sole trader.  Do I need to have a bank account to set-up a business account? 

2) I've not even registered my company/myself as sole trader.  Do I have to register my business or myself as sole trader?

Hey @ dee2cha ,

Thanks for asking your question in our Community and welcome.

If you are not a registered business yet I would advise selecting that you are a Sole Proprietor. This way yo can have a Business account on PayPal without legally needing to have all the business documents, You can also add a bank that is in your own name and use that in order to withdraw or send payments.

When you have registered your business you can update the details on PayPal.
