I requested money from a lady in HK, and she said she selected friends and family whilst paying for the request and I was still charged about $40 even though I requested in AUD (my own) currency? Shouldn't she be paying credit card or conversion fees?
1. If you sent a money request then it wasn't a friends / family payment it was a goods / services payment.
2. Its against paypal rules to ask a buyer to use the friends / family option and if paypal review f/f payments and suspect they are payments for goods then you would get a permanent ban.
