Advice appreciated. Received text message from 'PayPal' asking me about payment to a jones <removed> and that I need to confirm it.....then a link. Haven't pressed on it and certainly haven't paid anything to this person. Is this a scam and should I contact paypal security?
I've had the same, I'm pretty sure paypal won't send you a text message about this sort of thing. I've had it before and just deleted the text message checked my paypal and nothing has been different. If you haven't deleted it you can always forward it onto the paypal fraud team and they deal with it! Whatever you decide to do, don't open the link and just delete the message after!
