I paid the balance for my holiday on Tuesday through PayPal and today had a text saying PayPal A -£Xxxx GBP transaction with ‘company name’ on 11 September 2018 was marked suspicious. Please reply "1" if authorised or "2" if not authorised. Amount is correct as is company name. I've already changed my password as a precaution and while it seems genuine because the details are correct I’m reluctant to respond as we are constantly told ‘DO NOT REPLY TO SUSPICIOUS EMAILS OR TEXTS!’ Is this genuine? I seriously can’t believe PayPal would send out texts in this day and age of scamming on everything. The payment has completed and left my bank account
