Spam emails

Hi anyone tell me if this is spam or real? Your account has been limited. Hello, Customer After a recent review of your account activity, we've determined you are in violation of PayPal's Acceptable Use Policy. Please log in to confirm your identity and review all your recent activity You can find the complete PayPal Acceptable Use Policy by clicking Legal at the bottom of any PayPal page. Please Log In to your PayPal account and provide the requested information thought the Resolution Center.

Yep looks like a typical spoof so NEVER USE ANY LINK.

Firstly if the email/text addressed you as ''Dear Member'' / ''Customer'' / ''Client'' OR your ''email address'' then that confirms its a spoof as paypal would address you by your full name eg Dear John Smith.

Secondly if there was a link OR attachment in that email/text to ''cancel'' any transaction or ''confirm'' any details then again it would be a spoof.

If there was a problem with your account Paypal would not ask you to click on an unsafe link in an email or by downloading an attachment, they would direct you to log in normally and go to the resolution or the message centre for more information.

Issue is PayPal takes no responsibility for it. There's n reporting / forwarding email link. It's not good for customer, PayPal credibility or trust.
