Social Security number

I'm being asked to provide a copy of my social security card.  Is this safe?  Is this legit>

As long as its not via a link in an email then yes, it should request it ON your paypal account and may be due to this new policy.

DO NOT provide it via a link in any email.

Did you not read my post, no don't use email.

There should be an option to upload it in your paypal account if paypal are requesting that information.

Or send it via the message centre in your paypal account.
