Sending money via friends and family not an option

When sending money, the friends and family/goods and services option is not showing up on my screen. I want to send via friends and family but the option window does not show up.  After typing in an amount, a screen talking about protection comes up.  Any help please?

Welcome to the community and thanks for posting.

I don't know why you are not given an option to send money for friends and family and I am sorry about that.

If you don't mind me asking, have you tried to switch a platform? Like, if you are using a PayPal mobile app then try to use your mobile web browser (Safari or Google chrome) then go to www.paypal.com and login from there.

You may also want to try switching from mobile to a desktop/laptop and vise-versa.
