I’ve never paid a fee to send money to “friends and family” to pay my baby sitter instantly. Now, she has to wait 5 business days to receive the funds if I transfer from a bank account, or if I pay a $14 fee using my linked debit she can have it instantly. Why did this change ?? Is there any way around it?

You have always had to pay a fee to fund a friends / family payment via a card in your country IF you are in the U.S?
However if you fund it from a bank account it is free but you have to take the wait for the funds to transfer to paypal from your bank account > friend or family as it goes as an echeck.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
