Seller protection is not worth anything!

I recently sold an iPhone on eBay and was paid via PayPal prior to my sending. The buyer then claimed he had not received the item so PayPal refunded the purchase price. Then, as requested, pending resolution of the matter, I added money to my account to cover the deficit

I received confirmation via a signature that the item had actually been delivered but PayPal refused to refund me so now, I am out of pocket by the cost of the item plus $20 admin fee.

So, moral of story is, PayPal seeker protection is worth nothing and is provides no security whatsoever.

Seller, beware!!

You are supposed to supply a tracking number during the dispute and that tracking has to show the item delivered before the dispute is sorted.
