Seller changed his mind after I purchased. Gave me a refund but I want the item!

As my thread title states, I purchased an item from a seller on Craigslist. I was out of town at the time, and when I came back and tried to arrange to pick it up the seller changed his mind. I did not want a refund — I want the item I paid for. Do I have any rights under this?

Not really, you can't force a seller to sell and its not fraud as long as they issue a refund.

That’s what I figured. Although I didn’t ask for a refund, he promised me an extra $20 for canceling the transaction and then didn’t do that either. Is there no way to flag a bad transaction in PayPal? At least with eBay you can rate and review people. This was Craigslist.

No not really because it was not a bad paypal transaction, you just paid for an item and then received a refund, paypal would see nothing wrong in that.

I don't use Craiglist, can't you rate them on there?
