This year I have encountered several cases of threats to my Paypal account. For unknown reasons, I have received emails from merchants informing me about payments to them via Paypal. The latest being from hostinger. Months ago I had written to Paypal on an earlier case , but got superficial reply , advising me to change password, etc. Now it happens again , stressing me down !
My question is : how does these dubious merchant even know that I have a Paypal account ? How can I hide myself from them ?
Will Paypal make payment without my specific authorization ? Any security upgrade that I can make to the payment process ..
